Today everything went right for our four-year-old Lope De Vega daughter NINA'S LOB. Ridden by Eduardo Pedroza, the mare proved the best horse in the €25,000 Coolmore Cup (LR) in Baden-Baden over 1800 metres and drew clear from the field with ease in the final straight. The stewards noted four and a half lengths in the race report, and the manner in which the mare recorded her first Listed win allows for hope for more in future group races.
NINA'S LOB is a sister to PAKISTAN STAR, to date Germany's most winning galloper, who has been enjoying his retirement for the past two years with the Australian non-profit organization Living Legends and has excelled particularly in dealing with autistic children.
