Five-year-old ROSSCARBERY added yet another strong performance to her records yesterday when she finished an excellent second in the €141,000 Comer International Cup on the undercard of the Irish Oaks. The Paddy Twomey-trained Wittekindshof-bred was given a ground-saving trip around the oval at the Curragh by her stead partner William Lee, who took the mare to task two furlongs out where ROSSCARBERY jumped clear for a moment but could not maintain the lead. After 2,800 metres, the daughter of our Listed winner ROSE RIZED finished one length behind a strong winner and certainly did not disappoint.
