Yesterday evening our breeding operation celebrated a nice success by Ireland-based ROSSCARBERY. The four-year-old Sea The Stars daughter is the first product of the Listed winner ROSE RIZED (photo) and a close relative to Oaks winner ROSENREIHE, who had migrated to the Emerald Isle as a yearling via Tattersalls. Now ROSSCARY, trained by Paddy Twomey for Robert J. Maron, recorded her first Black Type victory at Cork when she won the Gr.3 Munster Oaks Stakes (2400m) under William Lee after a thrilling run to the post with a neck advantage.
