SIE HABEN DA WAS makes winning debut over hurdles

Swordhalf turned his debut over hurdles into a full success today. The five-year-old Wittekindshof bred was found close to the front in the 3800m Prix d'Auteuil (€18,000), and scored confidently by three and a half lengths on the soft ground of Strasbourg's racecourse. Thomas Beaurain was in the saddle for France-based Carina Fey and owner Christian Sundermann. Swordhalf (formerly named Sword Champ) is a half-brother of the 2012 Champion2YO filly, Swordhalf.
