At the end of the month, we were delighted to welcome three more new arrivals at Wittekindshof stud. One week after German carnival, the Gr.2-placed SALONLOVE (photo) foaled her second offspring, a filly by two-time Derby winner Australia. Another week passed before the next arrival, but on February 27th there was a double reason to be happy. The Nightdance daughter NIGHTDANCE SCALA produced a colt by Counterattack, while Listed winner ROSE RIZED foaled a colt which finally gave the three-time Gr.3 winner ROSSCARBERY (Sea The Stars) and runner-up in the Gr.1 Prix Jean Romanet the longed-for brother by Sea The Moon.
