Wittekindshof-bred NEAR AMORE gave a strong performance today at Chantilly where she scored her first career victory on her second time out. The three-year-old by Amaron out of the multiple Listed-placed NEAR GALANTE had no trouble under Stephane Pasquier and easily drew away from the field in the final straight to record a win by six and a half lengths. NEAR AMORE went to France via the BBAG Yearling Sale and is being prepared by Nicolas Clement for Gérard Augustin-Normand.
