The Protectionist daughter SWEET PRO made a successful debut at Dortmund today. The three-year-old secured a win by nearly a length in a 2400 metres maiden race with Eduardo Pedroza in the saddle, thus confirming the stayer qualities her trainer Waldemar Hickst had already certified.
SWEET PRO, a sister to Gr.3 St. Leger winner SWEET THOMAS, has a nomination for this year's Gr.1 German Oaks, which she could possibly target via the Hamburg Mehl-Mülhens Trophy.
