SERIENHOLDE's first product SCHNELL MEISTER now G1 winner

As of nine o'clock German time this morning, the already impressive pedigree of top mare Salde has to be extended by another G1 winner after three-year-old Schnell Meister made his name program and won the prestigious NHK Mile Cup in Tokyo. The colt stuck his nose in front and booked his first group win in this race over the mile after a strong finish under Christophe-Patrice Lemaire that had him earn the bulk of the equivalent of about 1.6 million euros in prize money for his owners Sunday Racing Co. Ltd. and trainer Takahisa Tezuka.
The Kingman son Schnell Meister is the first product of the Salde granddaughter Serienholde, who spent her active career racing in Wittekindshof colours and triumphed in the G1 German Oaks for us in 2016.
